Corner House is a comfortable, well laid out, detached bungalow style cottage sleeping up to 4 adults with space for a cot for a child under 2. It has a large corner plot and is conveniently located in a sunny spot between Crantock and West Pentire, a great spot for both the village and Crantock beach. The spacious, comfortable house has a homely and un-fussy style about it. The accommodation is all on one level with a beautiful laminated floor scattered with rugs throughout, making for real easy-living.
The Corner House has an enclosed rear garden, making it ideal for dog owners or parties with small children. Due to it's central village location, you are never more than a five minute walk away from two pubs, the church of St Carantoc, the Londis/Post Office store and other village attractions. As well as this, Crantock's legendary sandy beach is only a short walk away, making the cottage ideal for families and surfers alike.
Why the owner loves Corner House
We have been working abroad for many years and decided to buy a home in the UK to put down some roots. We could have lived anywhere, but the thought of a home by the beach in our favourite village in Cornwall was compelling. The Corner House has everything we wanted, close to the beach, close to the village shop, pubs and church, and on a single level so it was suitable for members of our family who find stairs a challenge. In the summer, when we are not out and about in Cornwall, we love to relax with our dogs in the sunny enclosed rear garden. Barbeque, glass of wine, sunshine what could be better. In the winter we love the warmth of the log burner after a bracing walk along the coastal parth. The Corner House is our little bit of England by the seaside.
Metal gate with a flat path to front door. Suitable for less mobile guests who can manage only a small number of steps. All on one level.
Central entrance hall upon entering house leads to sitting room with sofas & armchairs, flat screen TV, DVD, log burner. Laminate floor throughout with rugs. Follows through to dining room seating 4 with Hi-Fi.
Fully fitted /well equipped kitchen. Fitted wall and base units, oven, fridge, ceramic hob. Access to lobby from kitchen with washing machine and coin operated tumble dryer.
A cot and high chair for children under two are available.
Bedroom 1: King sized double bed (150 cm). Double wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables, TV. Looks over garden. Electric Radiator.
Bedroom 2: Two twin 3’ (90cm) beds. Double wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables. Electric radiator.
Large shower cubicle, sink, WC, large vanitory unit, heated towel rail.
Fully enclosed patio garden at rear of property facing North & East with benches, BBQ. To the front, a low walled garden laid to lawn with shrubs facing South & West. Please note: the gardener may need to visit during your stay.
