Primrose Cottage is a detached, traditional, beamed cottage located on Beach Road, just a short walk from Crantock Beach. This cosy, cute, cottage sleeps four adults with space for a travel cot.
Enter via a porch into the hall leading to:-
There is a galley kitchen to the back of the cottage with access to the rear which is tarmaced with views to the field behind, a sitting room with open fire, a conservatory and a separate dining room.
The kitchen comes with slot in double oven electric cooker, microwave, and plenty of equipment for a successful self catering holiday.
Traditional dark wood table and chairs with lots of pretty china for guests to use. The dining room leads into the sitting room.
For that extra touch of cosiness, there is an open fire in the sitting room. There is also central heating to keep you warm on those winter evenings.
There plenty of seating for guests to enjoy the large flat screen TV, complete with Freeview and a DVD player. A door leads into the Conservatory and then into the sunny rear garden.
There are three bedrooms
One is a double bedroom (150cm/5' bed) overlooking the rear garden complete with a built in sink unit and adjacent wardrobe.
There are two single rooms (90cm/3' bed) one to the front and one to the rear.
This combination of bedrooms makes Primrose Cottage ideal for families. Both bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe and storage space along with bedside tables and lamps.
The bathroom is spacious, newly fitted and the bath has an electric shower over the bath.
Primrose Cottage has stairs. There is not a bathroom or toilet downstairs.
Primrose Cottage has its own enclosed rear garden with plenty of flower beds and paving to make the most of the sun in the garden.
The cottage has its own enclosed patio and garden with barbeque and table for four. The garden is laid mainly to shrubs and lawn with a paved seating area. There is off-road parking for up to two cars.
Less than five minutes walk away is Crantock's sandy beach which is suitable for families and surfers alike. Two minutes walk away are two pubs, a Londis grocery store, Post Office, art gallery and the church of St Carantock.
Primrose Cottage will appeal to those who enjoy being able to walk to the beach and the pub, yet be a short drive from all of Cornwall's sporting and other attractions. The cottage is close to the South West Coastal Path, which will also suit those who like to walk a bit further than to the beach and pub The view at the top of this page of Porth Joke beach, which can be enjoyed after a five minute walk from our cottages on the West Pentire headland, shows the rugged scenery near by. As we allow one well behaved dog, so you can bring all the family.
Primrose Cottage is in close proximity to all our Crantock Village cottages, making it ideal for booking as part of a larger group. As well as driving, you can fly to Newquay airport, which is only eight miles away where taxis and hire cars can be booked.
A cot and high chair are available.
Central heating by radiator is available in all rooms.
There is a washing machine in the kitchen.
There is a telephone available, guests are free to use this for calls but we ask you to pay for its use via the honesty box.

Holidays start at 16.00hrs on a Saturday, unless a different date is specified or a short break is being taken.
How many guests will be staying
We find that for Non Peak weeks (that is weeks outside the school holidays, which includes all of July and August), , the property is popular with groups of 2+, so we now offer a Reduced Occupancy rate for groups of this size outside the summer and holiday weeks.
For Non Peak weeks, the displayed price is the discounted occupancy rate for up to 2 guests. If 3 to 5 guests are to stay then the No of Guests option when booking should be used for a larger group. If the No of Guests option is not displayed then the week is a Peak Week and the rate is for 5 guests. Up to one child under 2 years of age who use a cot and high chair and do not occupy a bed, can be brought in addition to the number of guests allowed in a property at no additional charge.
Short Breaks are sometimes available between November and March, except for Christmas, New Year and mid-February School Holidays. Please call or email if you are interested in a Short Break. Our charges for Short Breaks can be found on the left hand menu.

Reservation Deposit and Final Payment
If you are booking more than 2 months in advance, you can either pay in full or send us a Reservation Deposit of 25% of the rent the balance is due 2 months before your booking your booking form will show the full amount due.
Refundable Occupancy Deposit
A £50 per week Refundable Occupancy Deposit may be requested, when guests are staying with a dog. This will be paid to the Property Manager on arrival, and will be refunded on departure, subject to any retention for damage. Please see our Terms of Business for more details.

Sheets and Towels
Included in the rental price is bed linen for each bed that has been booked, a bath sheet and a hand towel for each guest, a separate hand towel for the shower room, a shower mat for the shower. Guests must provide their own beach towels.
