Crantock Bay House is a detached house, set back and above the West Pentire Road between Crantock Village and West Pentire. It is in an outstanding position with fantastic sea views over Crantock Bay and beyond. The house is light and airy with plenty of space and very well equipped to our high standards to ensure that guests have a fabulous self catering holiday. With two downstairs bedrooms and a bathroom,complete with separate shower cubicle, this house is ideal for parties who have a set of guests who prefer not to go upstairs.

Crantock Bay House is a five minute walk from Crantock beach and Polly Joke beach, making it a haven for family groups or keen surfers. A few minutes walk away is the Bowgie Inn, serving food and drink with the same fantastic view, and Crantock village is only five minute walk away along a country lane, where there are two more pubs, a Londis grocery store, Post Office and other village attractions. Crantock Bay House also has a large garden to the rear being fully enclosed making it ideal for guests with small children and dogs.

"Our family and friends have been coming to the Crantock area for over thirty years. We have camped, stayed in local B&Bs and rented cottages, but always dreamed of having our own holiday home in the area. We never thought a property would become available overlooking the sea and were delighted when Crantock Bay House did, and quickly decided as a family that it was right for us. The views from the sitting room, the sun lounge and upstairs bedrooms across Crantock Beach to Pentire and up the coast are mesmerising and a great place to relax at any time of the year. Our family always love to come to Crantock to relax, stroll down to the beach, surf, walk the coastline and enjoy lazy evening BBQs or eating out. The short walk to the beach and local Inns makes this a perfect location to enjoy the area during the day and evening. The family love delicious meals in the large kitchen and sometimes visiting the world class restaurants such as Paul Ainsworth's No 6 in Padstow or the Driftwood on The Roseland. Crantock is such a good destination to explore all of Cornwall at any time of the year."

Access

Steps up to front door. 1 flight of stairs for 2 floors.

Living Area

The front door leads into hallway where a corridor gives access to the Kitchen, double bedroom and downstairs bathroom one way, a twin bedroom and the Sitting Room, TV Lounge and Sun Lounge the other. Decorative fireplace. There is a door with access to the courtyard with seating and a barbeque.

L shaped Sitting room with wooden floor, sofas arranged around the wall mounted flat screen TV and view over the garden, DVD, sliding doors to patio and garden to one side.

There is a dining table with 8 chairs in the smaller part of the L. Views to Crantock Bay.

Door to Sun Lounge with a step down. Two sofas and two coffee tables - an ideal retreat and second lounge area with stunning views over Crantock Bay.

To the back of the house:

Kitchen

Fully fitted and very well equipped big kitchen with a dining table. Dishwasher, electric range cooker with extractor fan over, large fridge.

Utility Room:

Washing machine, sink, freezer, door to Conservatory with access to the large rear garden.

Sleeping

Cot for child under two available.

Upstairs:

Bedroom 1: En-suite. Zip and link beds providing either twin single beds or a super comfortable superking. Fitted bedroom furniture with plenty of storage, bedside tables. Views over Crantock Bay.

Bedroom 2:En-suite; Kingsize (150cm) bed. Bedside tables, fitted wardrobes. Views over Crantock Bay.

Downstairs:

Bedroom 3: Two single wood framed bedsteads. Bed side tables, chest of drawers, wardrobe in hallway, just outside the bedroom.

Bedroom 4: Two twin 3 (90cm) beds, can be a super king double. Bed side table, wardrobe.

Bathrooms

En-suite to Bedroom 1: Shower cubicle, WC, sink, storage, heated towel rail.

En-suite to Bedroom 2: WC, shower cubicle, sink with storage, towel rail.

Family Bathroom: Bath, separate shower cubicle, sink, WC, storage, heated towel rail.

Gardens

Front garden with views of the bay, parking, grassed and paved area, not enclosed. Access via front door and side gate from the rear garden.

South and East facing back garden with large raised, lawn area and patio, outside seating and umbrella style clothes airer. Lockable gate to front garden and so fully enclosed.
