The Stable sleeps up to 4 adults plus one child under 2 in a cot. This cottage is ideal for couples and for families. From this cottage, there is easy driving access to the beaches of Polzeath and Trevose. Padstow and Wadebridge are within easy reach both by car and by walking or bike along The Camel Trail.
The Stable is a conversion, located just outside Bodmin and accessed by a private country lane and is tucked away in a very pretty setting. In less than 50 metres from your front door, you will be on the Camel Trail
. The Stable is approximately 5 miles from Poley's Bridge.
The Stable is a detached, newly converted, beautifully presented and pretty, period cottage with lots of character features. The accommodation is laid out over two floors, with a reverse living layout.
The Stable has an enclosed courtyard garden, to the rear with a lovely open aspect over neighbouring land, with access from both the bedrooms and from an outside gate. The rear of The Stable enjoys a westerly aspect and here you will find a table with bench seating. Bicycles and surfboards may be stored on site when not in use. Please state when booking if you need to store items. The River Camel runs through the estate and guests are free to wander through the open land.
The Stable will appeal to those who are looking to stay in a really comfortable cottage only a short drive from all of Cornwall's sporting and other attractions. It is ideal for guests who like to cycle and want a base on the Camel Trail. A private stretch of the River Camel is accessible to guests from the open land around the neighbouring house. Guests are able to fish on the private land of The Dairy, please note that a Rod Licence for fishing needs to be purchased. This can be organised locally.
From the gravelled parking area, walk about 25 metres and climb the four steps into the porch (plenty of room for a dog basket or cage in here) and step directly into the living room.
On this upper floor you will find a well equipped kitchen, dining table with four chairs, sofa and two armchairs, complete with a large wall mounted TV with FreeSat and a DVD player. The cottage is centrally heated and has lots of light, charm and cosiness. There are stairs leading down to the two bedrooms with a fixed stair gate.
In the well equipped kitchen you will find a butler sink, electric plate hob, granite work surfaces, built in oven, fridge with a freezer box, microwave and dishwasher – everything for a great self catering holiday.
