Cottage Summary

Blacksmith’s Cottage is a traditional Cornish built cottage at the top end of Crantock Village, opposite Crantock View. Blacksmith’s Cottage was the original Blacksmith's cottage and dates back to the 1730's. Friends and families travelling together but preferring separate accommodation may find that co-ordinating a stay at these two properties will work really well.

In a great location with plenty of parking, Blacksmith’s Cottage will appeal to those who like to be within walking distance of Crantock village’s facilities, as well as being just a short drive from all of Cornwall’s sporting, leisure and other attractions. Crantock beach is just a ten minute walk from Blacksmith’s Cottage, making it an excellent spot for surfers and beach lovers.

Blacksmith’s Cottage has a south-facing garden to the rear which is on two levels with stone steps linking them. The higher level has outside rattan corner seating and a fabulous setting with lush tropical planting and lighting. There is an outside dining area with picnic table and chairs – the top level is a real sun-trap.

Why the owner loves Blacksmith’s Cottage...

"We are thrilled at having the opportunity to own this historic home from home in the beautiful village of Crantock where we hope to spend more and more of our time in the future. We love nothing more than surfing, cycling and running around with our dogs on stunning Crantock beach, and then coming home to enjoy a glass of wine, kick back and relax on our outside sofas and cook up a BBQ on our sunny terrace. We really hope you love our house as much as we do."
