Short Breaks

We typically offer short breaks from November to March, excluding Christmas and New Year and the February school holidays. We also consider Short Breaks when a cottage is still available the following week, which sometimes happens due to cancellations.

We like to be as flexible as possible, and where possible, we can allow Short Breaks to start on any day of the week, within the confines of the week being booked.

Our rates are the following percentages of the weekly rate:

3 nights is 70% of weekly rental
4 nights is 90% of weekly rental

Where the week offers Reduced Occupancy discounts, the extra guests charges are not discounted, as the extra cost of guests remains the same, whether it is a full week or a short break.

If the cottage allows a short break for the dates you are considering, the number of nights available will be displayed as an option when booking. Certain cottages do not allow 3 night breaks and some do not allow them at all.
