Reduced Occupancy Discount
 In the Summer (outside the school holidays in the Summer, Easter, Half Terms and Christmas, we find that many of our cottages are used by couples or smaller groups. For this reason, we offer a Reduced Occupancy rate for all cottages. Most are for two people, but the larger ones may have a minimum rate for four. When reduced occupancy is allowed, there is a pull down menu, on the booking web page, that can be used when booking to select the correct number of guests who will be coming. There is an extra charge for each person over the minimum. The extra charge applies to anyone over the age of 2 years who is not sleeping in a cot. The charge also applies if guests are staying for only a few days or for the entire holiday. So we can offer these discounts, it is assumed that less of the property will be used and change over costs will be reduced. If there are for example two guests, it is assumed that a double or two single beds in one room would be used and only one bathroom used. If more bathrooms or bedrooms or beds are required then this must be agreed before they are used and CHC will need to charge for the additional facilities used.
