Cottatge Summary

Berwyn is a large Grade II listed five-bedroom property on three floors. It is an ideal holiday cottage for a large party and is close to Crantock’s glorious sandy beach - in one of Cornwall’s most picturesque seaside villages.

Berwyn has an enclosed garden, making it ideal for dog owners or parties with small children.  Due to its central village location, you are never more than a five minute walk away from two pubs, the church of St Carantoc, the Londis/Post Office store and other village attractions. As well as this, Crantock's legendary sandy beach is only a short walk away, making the cottage ideal for families and surfers alike.

Why the owner loves Berwyn

Berwyn was our family home for many years.  When we moved up country, we decided to keep the cottage as our holiday home and are so pleased we did.  We love returning to Crantock when ever we can.  Being a large house we are able to host those important family occasions when several generations can come together and create those special moments.  There is space for us to all be together, and separate rooms when we want our privacy.  We love to bring our dogs and wear them out, and ourselves, on long walks over the beach and the headlands.  When we are feeling like just relaxing, we love to be able to sit in the sunny enclosed garden and enjoy outside dining.  Berwyn is a great family house and we are so pleased to be able to share it with our guests.

Entrance lobby leading to hallway. Large sitting room with sofas, flat screen TV, DVD & Freeview, log burner, desk & chair, bookcase, access to rear garden via sliding doors. Smaller, seperate sitting room to the front of Berwyn with sofas & arm chair, TV, log burner.


Open plan kitchen/dining area. Fully fitted /well equipped with double range cooker, induction hob, fridge/freezer and plenty of cupboards. Large farmhouse table seating 10, looking to the front garden. Utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and hanging space.


A cot for children under two is available.

Bedroom 1: 4'6" (135cm) double bed. Vanity Unit with sink, bedside tables, wardrobe, TV & Digibox. Looks over rear garden and over the balcony.

Bedroom 4: Two twin 3' (90cm) beds. Vanity Unit with sink, bedside tables, hanging space. Looks over rear garden.

Bedroom 5: Top floor/loft bedroom. Kingsize 5' (150cm) bed. En suite. Bed side tables, dressing room with plenty of hanging space, chair.
