Cottage Summary

Offshore is a gem of a self catering cottage just a few minutes walk out of Crantock in North Cornwall and is perfect for a family get away. The cottage is based in a quiet residential road, making it a safe haven for families with children.

Whilst tucked away, the cottage is less than a ten minute walk from the centre of the village where you will find two pubs, a local store and other attractions. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk from Crantock's large, sandy beach meaning you are never too far from the sea or the water's edge - ideal for surfers!

Offshore is semi detached and is a deceptively large cottage with a bright, beachy-surfer feel to it.

Each bedroom has an assigned colour theme with a modern, feel-good energy created by the natural light pouring through the many windows. As a relatively newly built cottage, its spacious layout makes for easy, safe, fun living; and with the added bonus of a fully enclosed garden, children are free to explore leaving the parents to kick back and relax!

"We love Offshore because as soon as we arrive we can relax, looking forward to all that Crantock has to offer. The house is bright, warm and deceptively spacious and we had fun giving it a laid back holiday feel. There’s space to store all the surfboards and the garden catches the afternoon sun – great for barbecues! It is on a quiet, but friendly residential road and not too far to walk down over the dunes to the beach for a quick swim – great exercise."


Flat level parking area leads via a paved path to the front door and one step up to go into the cottage.

Two steps down into the garden from sitting room, access through patio doors, or via the side entrance through the gate.

One flight of wide, steady stairs to top floor.

Living Area

Open hall way including space to hang coats. Doors off to kitchen with dining area, cloakroom and sitting room. Stairs up to bedrooms. Spacious sitting room with comfortable seating. Wall mounted flame effect electric fire, TV, DVD player, sound system. Sliding doors accessing garden.


Open plan kitchen and dining area. Family eating table for 8. Fully fitted and well equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob, built-in single fan oven, large fridge-freezer.


Bedroom 1- The Red Room: Option of twin 3’ (90cm) beds or a 6’ (180cm) superking. Bedside tables, wardrobe, big dressing table, chair under the window, TV. Looks over the front of the cottage.

Bedroom 2- The Blue Room with en-suite shower room: 5' bedstead, bedside tables, wardrobe, plenty of drawer storage, quirky arm chair. Ensuite shower room. Looks over rear garden.

Bedroom 3- The Green Room: 4'6" double bed. Built-in cupboard, chest of drawers, bed side table. PLEASE NOTE THAT FROM EASTER 2017 THERE WILL BE TWO SINGLE BEDS. No wardrobe in this bedroom. Looks to the front of the cottage.

Bedroom 4- Downstairs: 4'6" double bed. chest of drawers, bed side tables No wardrobe in this bedroom. Looks to the front of the cottage and is downstairs.


Family bathroom: Second floor. Bath with shower over, sink, WC, storage cupboard.

Cloakroom: Ground floor. WC, sink.


Access via sliding doors in living room or side gate on outside. Pebbled seating area with wooden table and seating for six with built-in parasol. Grassed area with planting South west facing, fully enclosed. Please note: the gardener may need to visit during your stay.

Washing machine and tumble drier.
