Cottage Summary

Number 10 is a modern, recently built, semi detached house on outskirts of Crantock with a 15 minute walk to Crantock Beach. The house offers modern living at its best with a large L shaped open plan living space, a downstairs cloakroom, three large bedrooms (1 ensuite) and a lovely modern bathroom. The house is heated and ventilated by air source heat pump. The garden has a Southerly aspect and is ideal for enjoying the sun all day. However if a winter break is more what you are looking for, the log burner in the sitting area is perfect for curling up in front of - adding a real cosiness to the house.

Number 10 is an ideal house for active guests. There is plenty of room in the garden to store surf boards or bicycles - just come in through the side gate. The house has 3 bedrooms and is designed to cater for four people - ideal for a family with children over the age of 5 or for older children who prefer not to share a bedroom.

Due to its great location, Number 10 will appeal to those who like to be within a close walking distance from Crantock village's facilities, as well as being just a short drive from all of Cornwall's sporting, leisure and other attractions. Crantock Beach is also just a short drive or walk from Number 10, making it an excellent spot for surfers and beach lovers.

"We have been holidaying in Crantock for many years and love the surf, the walking, the cycling - anything outdoors really! As soon as we arrive we know we can relax, and look forward to all that Crantock has to offer. The house is bright, warm and deceptively spacious. The garden is south facing just great for barbeques and a fabulous way to round off the day! "


From the Front:

Blocked paved parking area leads via a path to the front door.

From the rear patio doors:

Two steps down into the garden (onto small patio) from sitting room, access through doors and on into the garden.

Access to the rear garden is also via the side entrance through the gate (level access through side entrance).

Into entrance hall from the front door and drive:

Wide, spacious hall with hanging space. Door to cloakroom.

To the left, one flight of wide, steady stairs to top floor, to the right, the living room and kitchen.

Living Area

Open plan 'L' shaped living room/dining area/kitchen with oak wooden flooring. Dining table seating four. Modular sofas which can be separated into two sofas, tub style armchair, red high gloss sideboard and coffee table. Flat screen TV with FreeSat, DVD, Radio with iPod dock. There are sliding doors opening onto the sunny South facing garden.


Fully fitted /well equipped kitchen with high gloss cupboard fronts. Dishwasher, built-in Siemens fan oven, integrated fridge/freezer, drinks fridge, 4 slot toaster and kettle (no waiting for toast!).

Upstairs to bedrooms and bathroom: The beds will be made up with crisp white linen and have non feather duvets and pillows.

To the right,


Lovely, bright and modern bathroom with plenty of storage. Shower over the bath, sink, WC and long shelf for storage.

There are three bedrooms for Sleeping

Bedroom 1 (Blue Bedroom): Looks to the front of Number 10: Double bedstead, sliding wardrobe with internal drawers and bedside tables .

Bedroom 2 (Green Room): Facing south, overlooking the garden, large single bed, single wardrobe, large mirror and bedside tables with drawers.

Master Bedroom:To the left of the landing and bedroom looks to the rear and into the Vale: King size bedstead, bedside tables, chest of drawers and wardrobe. Ensuite shower - spacious with heated towel rail, large mirror, sink, WC, walk in shower and plenty of storage.


Enclosed patio and garden area to the rear of Number 10. BBQ and table for 4.

Access by door from house and by wooden gate from drive way. Please note: the gardener may need to visit during your stay.

Number 10 is a newly built house and for this reason does not appear on Google Maps. If when you look, don't be alarmed that the "pin" showing the house map is in the middle of a field. The "pin" is in the right place and the house does exist!
